As an Engineering Operations intern, you will be responsible for providing technical and operational support to various departments within the company. You will have the opportunity to practice your engineering skills by designing, refining, and correcting products and processes. Metrics are central to helping us make smart decisions, so you’ll help gather and analyze data to make recommendations for standardizing processes. If you’re able to identify ways to improve things, that is important to us as well. Relationship building and communication skills are both important for this internship position.
You’ll have the opportunity to work in departments like Operations Engineering, Continuous Improvement Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering and Product Development Engineering. We are looking for students pursuing degrees in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Design Engineering, or Technology, or a closely related field. Applicants should be interested in pursuing a manufacturing, process-oriented Engineering career.

Education & Experience Requirements
- Must be enrolled in college or university
- Previous internship experience is preferred
- Must be pursuing a degree in a related field
Job Responsibilities
- Work 40 hours a week
- Working with the assigned mentor and team to complete your project
- Will vary based on project details
Skills Needed
- SolidWorks, preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

- Must be able to access all areas of operation, including second floors
- Sitting/standing for long periods of time
