Fortified Roofing & Siding is seeking top performers to join our sales team! We have an opening for a sales professional based in Columbia, MO. Experience in property inspections and estimating residential roofing, siding, and gutters is preferred but not required.
An ideal candidate will have a good understanding of their local market. He/she must navigate the sales cycle while acquiring homeowners' trust and business. An excellent candidate can service the customer's wants and needs while maintaining a high level of communication and organization. Average Day
Most of your day-to-day responsibilities will be as a consultant assessing customers' needs, recommending products, and developing estimates. Projects are often restoration work which entails working with insurance to restore damaged trades such as roofs, siding, gutters, soffit, fascia, and windows. Other customers are looking for updated renovations to their existing homes, your responsibility is to guide them through the multiple options to find the best solution for their home. Throughout the sales process you are also ensuring customer satisfaction through constant communication.

- Your primary responsibility is to represent Fortified with the highest degree of professionalism, punctuality, and integrity while providing our customers with respect, honesty, and the highest level of customer service.
- Run company-provided leads and proactively identify new opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
- Conduct property inspections, including roofs and attics, to determine customer needs.
- Prepare and present estimates during customer appointments.
- Guide homeowners through insurance restoration or renovation options.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through clear communication and regular follow-ups.
- Collaborate with the production team to facilitate project execution.
- Maintain detailed records in CRM software and manage account activity.
What We’re Looking For:
- Outgoing personality with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Construction knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Strong account management and business development skills.
- Proficiency with computers, iPads, and CRM software.
- Keep in contact with current customers.
- Work alongside the production team to ensure they can complete projects you have sold.
- Willing and able to travel to customer locations to manage the sales, construction, and collection cycles.
This role requires frequent standing, walking, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and the following.
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
- Must be able to work in hot, cold, humid and/or rainy weather conditions

- W2 commission-based employee

- Company truck and fuel provided for sales appointments (this is not a take home vehicle).
