What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pump Down Pump Supervisor position at Fortis Energy Services, Inc?
The Pump Down Pump Supervisor works with various hhp pumps and is responsible for servicing oil and gas wells. The duties include driving the crew vehicle, assisting in rigging-up and down, and managing the job at the wellsite. All duties are to be performed according to operating procedures to maximize safety and to efficiently perform the task.
Essential Functions of Job:
- Supervise and coordinate yard times for crew and making sure they have all items needed for job.
- Assist in rigging up/down equipment
- Directing equipment once on location, and laying out plan for rigging up frac
- Largely responsible for determining how the job will be performed, based on the specific conditions at the well.
- Direct the activities of the crew as
- Overseeing and coordinating job at hand with company and pump operator.
- Responsible for making sure everyone on location has proper ppe, and staying out of red zone while job is being performed.
- Drive crew to and from location, ensuring all are fit for duty
