We are seeking a Low Voltage Installation Account Executive. This position will provide solutions and sell contracts for the installation of new, modification to, or replacement of existing low voltage systems including fire alarm, access control, closed circuit television, intrusion and special hazard systems. The sales executive will work with owners, property managers, general contractors, electrical contractors and other responsible individuals who need to ensure their fire protection system is code compliant and low voltage needs are met. The Low Voltage Installation Account Executive will work with operational leaders and other sales executives in the organization on an as-needed basis to provide a complete solution to any low voltage need.
Job Duties
- Identify opportunities and follow up on leads for any type of low voltage project with new or existing customers.
- Intelligently layout solutions for low voltage projects to satisfy any code requirements and to integrate any systems into the low voltage project.
- Establish and build customer relations.
- Work with other team members to sell full service offering when applicable including, but not limited to fire sprinkler and suppression.
- Utilize estimation tools to deliver accurate pricing to prospective customers
- Keep detailed activity in CRM system
- Promptly respond to customer requests
- Adhere to sales plan to achieve established goals and other key performance indicators
- Prospect for new customers, perform cold calling, perform site surveys, establish networking opportunities, perform presentations
- Work with operational project managers, designers, and department leaders to gain approval on customer proposals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm systems, specifically Notifier.
- NICET Certification in Fire Alarm Systems, Water-Based Fire Protection, or Special Hazards a plus
- Proficient in the use of computers and mobile devices
- Organized, motivated, and able to work with minimum supervision
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
Compensation $65,000 base depending on experience plus comission
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the Team member is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The Team member is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Team member is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs, or balance. The Team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
