Fortis Industries is interviewing for a Part-time Service Order Dispatcher for our contract in Miami, Florida. The Service Order Dispatcher will report to the Project Manager. This is an SCA (Service Contract Act) position.
Service Order Dispatcher duties:

- Receives, records, and distributes work orders to service crews.
- Records information concerning the article to be repaired, prepares work orders and distributes to service crew.
- Schedules service calls and dispatches the service crew. Calls or writes to the customer to insure satisfactory performance of service.
- Contacts customer to insure satisfactory performance of service.
- Dispatches orders and relays messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments using radio or phone.
Job Requirements:
- Applicant must be proficient in the operations of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Applicants must have at least a high school diploma / GED or equivalent
- Applicants are preferred to have had at least 2 years experience.
- Applicant must be experienced in performing routine clerical functions with attention to detail, have the ability to work independently and in a team environment, and respond positively to new emergent and unique project task requirements to successfully meet critical deadlines.
- Applicants must receive favorable background and drug screen results.
- Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for access to government computer systems.
Pay Rate:
- $17.75 per hour
- Plus $4.57 per hour (Up to 40 hours a week) Health and Welfare (Monies pay for Benefits, any remaining funds go to your paycheck!)
