The Software QA Analyst role plays an important part in our company’s product development and/or production operations process. This role is responsible for conducting tests before product launches and deployments to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective.
- Design and execute systems to check for issues.
- Document test cases.
- Perform and document risk analysis.
- Record test progress and results.
- Code automated tests.
- Create test plans.
- Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
- Discover bugs within various products and processes.
- Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes.
- Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing.
- Identify any potential problems that users might encounter.
- Perform manual and automated testing.
- Research and analyze product features and bugs being tested.
- Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes.
- Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality.
- Collaborate with internal functional departments and correspondents to resolve complex issues.
- Identify and update test scenarios and cases as needed to ensure software quality.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, preferred.
- Knowledge of one or more scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, .Net.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to follow through on projects and tasks to 100% completion.
- Broad knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Effective communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Working Conditions: This is a hybrid position. Office environment.
- Physical Activities: Occasional standing, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 25 pounds.
