General Overview and Tasks:
- Lead and contribute to the design and planning phases of residential and commercial projects.
- Develop creative and functional solutions that meet client requirements and adhere to building codes and regulations.
- Proficiently use AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software to produce accurate and detailed drawings.
- Prepare comprehensive construction documents and specifications.
- Oversee and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Florida building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant standards.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and regulations.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging open communication and idea-sharing among team members.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, nurturing their professional development and helping them reach their full potential.
- Engage directly with clients to understand their vision and requirements, building strong relationships based on trust and effective communication.
- Uphold a commitment to excellence by ensuring all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and adherence to design principles.
- Identify training and development opportunities for team members, contributing to the continuous improvement of the overall skill set within the firm.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working beside a licensed architect.
- Proven track record of successfully completing residential and commercial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
- Strong knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and solve complex design challenges.
- Strong conceptual and design skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail in drafting, documentation, and project management.
