Transportation Technology Sales
At Fortress Systems, our goal is to offer flexible and powerful fleet management and technology solutions based on our cloud services platform to assist in the creation of a transportation sector that is responsive to the evolving needs of business, government, education and the wider community.
The Account Executive is responsible for increasing the customer base through the acquisition of new Education (pupil transit), Gov (Public Trans and Public Works) and Commercial accounts. This is a full-time, inside/outside sales role with a base salary plus excellent commission structure.
Duties
- Identify revenue opportunities through outbound cold calls, emails and relationship building
- Own the entire sales process from prospecting to close.
- Research prospects to identify key contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to build relationship with customers and pitch the value of our service
- Be knowledgeable on company products and services as well as customer needs and requirements
- Present our solutions competently via online demos and in person meetings
Target industries: Public Works/Public Trans Fleets, Pupil Transportation, commercial fleet accounts
Requirements:
Self-Disciplined, highly motivated with a hunter sales mentality
- Fleet Sales experience is highly desired
- Ability to travel frequently for customer visits and to attend trade shows
- 2 years of inside / outside B2B/B2E/B2G Sales experience
- Proven track record of successful inside or outside sales
- Excellent verbal communication skills; strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Persistence
- Ability to work independently as well as in team environment
- Bachelor's Degree required
