As a mail and batch processing clerk, you will support the efficient operation of the document processing workflow by handling inbound mail and preparing batches for scanning. You are focused with great time management skills and have the ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
WORKSITE: 1000 Steward Avenue, Glen Burnie, MD
WORK SCHEDULE: Sunday through Thursday evening, 6 pm to completion (2 am latest, with a 30-minute lunch break)
COMPENSATION: $17.00 per hour

- Ensure all documents are properly prepared for scanning, including removing staples, paper clips, and other obstructions.
- Maintain accurate records of mail processed and batch preparation activities.
- Adhere to established guidelines for document handling and privacy standards.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies promptly to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in mailroom operations, document processing, or a similar environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and sit or stand for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to the full duration of the assignment.
