Wilderness Host

The Wilderness Host will be responsible for the initial greeting of guests upon arrival, direct and comfortably seat and assist customers with courteous and prompt guest service procedures.

The Host will work under the supervision of the Wilderness Dining Room Manager.

Initiate sincere greeting
Knowledge of property events
Assist customer inquiries
Assist co-workers when needed
Maximize salesmanship of dining satisfaction
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Promptly seat
Respect customer wishes as to seating in area with fairness to servers
Inform customer of server by name
Inform server of newly seated guests
Assist server with beverage service when needed
Offer assistance to handicapped customers in all capacities
Assist bussers in table preparation to ensure efficient seating
Maintain and manage wait list with efficiency
Retain guest name and number of guests in party
Advise guest of minimum/maximum wait time
Maintain positive attitude to guest relating to available seating
Encourage guest to participate in casino gaming until seated
Provide for employee/guest “to go” paper and plastic implements
Keep a clean and organized service area
Maintain inventory of supplies
Help with napkin folding
Maintain personal hygiene and appearance
Recognize/remove hazards
