What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Administrator position at Fortune Products, Inc.?
Our local and growing distribution company is searching for a Sales Administrator who can offer reliable support to the sales team and help improve efficiency as sales volume increases. You are responsible for completing all setup documentation to establish new relationships, be a liaison between the sales team and Finance and demonstrate exceptional internal and external customer support.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Act as the gatekeeper for the sales department by directing incoming calls to the appropriate person.
- Responsible for all sales administration needs
- Responsible for creation of sales orders for all non-EDI purchase orders.
- Correct pricing, quantity, and other issues with new purchase orders by contacting the customer or coordinating with other team members to get issues resolved.
- Assume roles and responsibilities as the Fortune Products trade show coordinator.
- Occasionally travel to attend trade shows or customer meetings.
- Work closely with Graphics Coordinator and with training, provide additional support to that function.
- Act as primary support resource for the sales team
- Manage assigned projects and meet multiple deadlines
- Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries.
- Organize sales presentations and ensure that all materials are prepared prior to deadlines
- Coordinate travel arrangements and reservations for sales team
- Coordinate trade show preparations and execution to include show forms, booth preparation and samples
- Set up new items with Customer websites / portals
- Maintain customer records as required
- Conduct online market research, collecting data, and lead generation
- Monitor and maintain customer information in Salesforce to ensure accuracy
- Identify process issues and implement improvements
