Job Description
The Full Time Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant will provide customer service to our patients and administrative support to our medical team. This is a fast-paced Medical Office with a high volume of calls and patients. Office hours are Monday-Thursday 8:45am-5:00pm and Friday 8:45-12:00pm. This position serves as the company’s first impression to all our patients and visitors, so we always expect the person in this role to both dress and act professionally. This is a cross-trained hybrid role with full administrative duties and some clinical duties. This role requires flexibility in day-to-day tasks and the initiative to fill in where needed.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Excellent customer service skills
- EMR Experience
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Detail oriented
- Ability to Multitask
- Team Player
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Comfortable with being cross trained in daily office and administrative duties, plus clinical duties
- Integrative medicine or med spa experience a plus
- Phlebotomy experience a plus, training available if needed
Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Administrative Duties:
- Greet Patients
- Answer incoming calls, faxes, and emails
- Taking detailed messages for the medical staff
- Provide each patient with excellent, personalized service
- Scheduling appointments
- Invoicing and inventory control
- Accounts Receivable
- Order fulfillment and shipping
- Patient documentation
Clinical Duties:
- Assist with clinical procedures, such as sexual wellness, aesthetics, and procedures
- Basic patient vitals i.e., blood pressure, weight, height
- Take patient medical history
- Draw blood, and process specimen
- Performing basic laboratory tests, if needed
- Patient injections
- Instructing patients about medications and treatment plans
- Authorizing medication refills to pharmacies and in-clinic
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-21.00 per hour.
