We are seeking a HR Manager to support our leadership team and drive the implementation of key HR initiatives at our Chattanooga site. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with thick skin, strong business acumen, and an ability to manage a wide range of HR-related functions in a dynamic, industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with site management to align HR strategy with business objectives.
- Oversee efficient staffing, recruitment, onboarding, training, and career development processes at the site level.
- Manage payroll and administration processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, fostering a safe working environment for all employees.
- Handle industrial relations, including maintaining strong communication with employee representatives.
- Implement and enforce corporate HR policies and processes at the site, ensuring effective employee engagement and empowerment.
- Provide regular HR reports to the division and offer strategic insights to drive improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an HR role within an industrial environment.
- Deep understanding of employment law and HR systems.
- Strong familiarity with payroll systems and HR information management.
- Results-driven, with the ability to work autonomously and meet business targets.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
