Position: Pool Distribution Supervisor

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-5pm

Compensation: $80,000-$85,000 salary

Job Description

The Pool Distribution Supervisor will oversee and coordinate daily operations related to key logistics accounts, ensuring efficiency in freight movement, processing, and delivery planning. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to facilitate seamless coordination between various teams and external partners. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Core Responsibilities & Duties

• Assist with oversight and completion of all office and warehouse duties supporting daily operations for key accounts
• Facilitate the efficient oversight and processing of OS&D (Over, Short & Damaged) cartons in the designated area
• Monitor and process pool loads, ensuring all shipments are updated and tracked in a timely manner
• Coordinate with the National team to ensure accurate and efficient processing of arrivals
• Work with Zone Staff to plan and execute daily local deliveries
• Manage scheduling, accountability, and resource allocation for National Staff
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and proper use of company-supplied equipment and resources
• Pre-plan for peak periods and staff absences, providing necessary training and additional support
• Maintain accurate records, update statuses, and ensure smooth communication across multiple teams
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in logistics, freight management, or warehouse operations preferred
• Lift no more than 20lbs
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and freight movement
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics tracking systems
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak periods
