Forward is a single resource for your shipping needs.Position : Air Export CoordinatorCore Responsibilities & Duties : Handle tracking, tracing, and data entry on the movement of air cargo shipments to ensure accurate milestones are metMaintains effective communication and collaboration with team to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly goals are metCommunicate with all parties : i.e., air carriers, brokers, warehouses, CFS’s, customers, agentsAssist export teams on all aspects of cargo transportation and data managementAttitude and ability to manage high volume communications and data tracking toolsProvides Air Export services to client companies, ensuring timely and accurate processing of documentation and all other aspects of customer requirements, including, but not limited to, booking shipments, preparing Airway bills, pre-alerts, documentation required for clearance at destination, packing lists, input of data for tracking and tracing shipments, as requiredAdheres to SOPs for routing of shipments according to client instructionsResponsible for ensuring accurate data entry and communication for Export shipments, including timely update of internal and external milestonesResponsible for adherence to U.S. customs, TSA, and all other government agencies’ rules, laws and regulationsTroubleshoot problems – ability to think through exceptions and provide solutionsResponsible for service processes, continuously striving for improvements to service and qualityAssists the day-to-day operations of the team to ensure that customer requirements are metOther duties as assignedJob Requirements & Qualifications : Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in international export operationPrevious knowledge of air cargo transportation / operations preferredPrevious experience with CargoWise is a plusAbility to work overtime as neededProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.Strong written and verbal communication.Must excel in effectively interacting within a diverse, multicultural environmentWhat We Offer : Competitive base salaryPaid time off within the first year of employment, sick time and holidaysCompany provided life insuranceHealth, vision, and dental insurance optionsCommuter benefit planOptional supplemental life insurance401(k)A great place to work with a terrific cultureForward Air is an Equal Opportunity employer.#INDAbout UsSince 1990, Forward Air has been a leading provider of ground transportation and related logistics services to the North American air freight and expedited LTL market.
