We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers.
Forward Energy, a home-heating business is headquartered in Standish, MI. Forward Energy has been a top propane supplier in northeast Michigan for nearly 100 years. We supply high-quality propane, fuel oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, and other lubricants to thousands of customers. Our highly trained and fully certified staff provides safe and reliable service throughout northeast Michigan for homes, farms, and businesses.
Duties:
- Answer incoming customer inquiries via phone, and in person
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional manner
- Process orders, assist customers with inquiries, orders, accepting payments and other
administrative tasks related to propane products and services
- Maintain accurate customer records in the database
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service best practices
