Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team. As a Barista/Bartender at FCC, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, making high quality coffee beverages, and serving craft beer to our community. If you have a passion for coffee, beer, and customer service plus you enjoy creating a welcoming atmosphere, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos

- Take customer orders and ensure accuracy in preparation

- Operate coffee equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop

- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register records

- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns

- Complete afternoon/closing tasks and follow FCC procedures

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Requirements:

- Previous barista experience prefered but not required

- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy

- Familiarity with taking customer orders using a POS system is a plus

- Knowledge of coffee or beer is a plus

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
