The platform scales to support hundreds of thousands of network devices, whether cloud, hybrid cloud, or on-prem. It serves as a single source of truth for the network, enabling network operators to instantly verify security posture, accelerate troubleshooting, avoid outages, and modernize network management.

Forward Networks is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, as well as detailed income statement analysis.
- Manage and take responsibility for transactional accounting processes, such as Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash, including day-to-day transactions (i.e., accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit cards, employee reimbursements, fixed assets, etc.).
- Have a hand in developing accounting policies and procedures.
- Support various audit and/or tax requests, as directed.
- Help safeguard company assets by adhering to its policies and internal control environment.
- Curious about identifying process improvements, automation opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding vendor, customer, and employee data.
- Ad-hoc projects to support the development of the Company as needed.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with GAAP knowledge and general accounting concepts.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-growth startup and being a self-starter, prior experience with remote work preferred.
- Be very detailed-oriented, ensuring that routine transactions are processed timely and accurately.
- Strong time and task management skills.
- The ability to critically think and make corresponding conclusions, including the ability to detect patterns and interpret incomplete data.
- Possess strong analytical skills.
- Comfortable with booking Journal Entries and navigating the financial statements.
- The ability to work in a diverse work environment and be nimble with shifting priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail, including self-review, and detailed project management skills.
- Be proficient with Microsoft (Word/Excel) and Google Suite products.
Nice to haves:
- Proficient with NetSuite; Robust tech stack including Slack, Ramp/Bill.com, Avalara, Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, etc.
- 2 years of relevant experience, mix of public accounting and private industry experience.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Familiar with Revenue recognition for SaaS companies (ASC 606).
- Prior experience at a start-up.
- Knowledge and experience using Apple products.
The base pay range for this role is between $80,000 and $105,000. Base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location
