The FSET and W2 Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operations of FoodShare Employment and Training (FSET) and Wisconsin Works (W2) consistent with the goals, policies and procedures of FSC and state funding sources. They are responsible for the planning and implementation of program services, performance monitoring, and program compliance monitoring. The Team Leader is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, the integration of program services, demonstrating proactive leadership practices, and ensuring employee satisfaction and professional development. They are the direct supervisor of FSET Case Managers and W2 Case Managers. (Job Description attached)
PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE
- Provide day-to-day management of the FSET and W2 programs, related case management programs and customer services, to include program monitoring, data collection and reports, and performance management.
- Provide leadership to staff and set expected performance levels commensurate with the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Maintain and review program dashboards to ensure monitoring and performance compliance.
- Create and compile reports for internal Quality Assurance Department and State Region Office.
- Provide written and verbal reports (process and performance) to the Program Coordinator on all aspects of program performance and operations.
- Design and implement strategies that maximize employee potential and foster high ethical standards in meeting the organization’s vision, mission, and goals. Provide leadership in setting and achieving annual goals and promote uniformity across all operations.
- Teach, coach, and mentor staff toward excellent customer service and performance excellence.
- Promote quality services and operations through effective use of the organization’s performance management system (e.g., establishing performance standards, appraising staff accomplishments using the developed standards, and taking action to reward, counsel, or remove employees, as appropriate).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The ideal FSET and W2 Team Leader will have ability to learn program requirements, policy and processes with the ability to adjust to frequent change in policy, reporting and program delivery. Must be able to manage effectively in a virtual and in-person team environment. This position requires excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to operate a PC using Microsoft Office software. Must maintain a valid driver license and be insurable.
