What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Music Instructor position at FORXA Inc?
FORXA INC MUSIC PARTNERSHIP WITH THE ALISAL DISTRICT
This position will rotate schools every six weeks. School district equipment can be provided for any of the listed subjects. The instructor will be responsible for teaching beginning techniques, beginning musical literacy (if applicable), proper posture for the selected focus and ability-appropriate musical selections. Students will learn the basic techniques required for each discipline, basic care and handling for any equipment in use, any literacy (musical notation, lyrics, etc.) required, and a basic age-appropriate song or routine while building skills in confidence, communication, teamwork, and self-esteem.
Pay: $25-$35/hr depending on experience
Flexible for any listed below.
Instrumental/Dance Skills desired include:
- Drums/Percussion
- Ukulele
- General Music Instruction (rhythm, singing, bell sets, boomwhackers, etc.)
- Piano &/or Mallet Instruments (Xylophone, Marimba, etc.)
- Guitar
- Cheer
- Dance
- Colorguard
- Trumpet
- Violin
- Flute/Clarinet
MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 2:45 TO 5:45
SATURDAY MORNING AVAILABLITY
Music reading and class management skills are a must! This will be a very rewarding job for the right individuals!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 17 – 25 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
