Position Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative provides rapid response to inbound leads, strategically engages outbound prospects & lead generation, and supports Outside Sales Representatives in their communication with distributor sales reps to maximize revenue & internal parties. The Inside Sales Representative plays a critical role in pipeline development, customer engagement, and ensuring seamless coordination between our sales team and distributor partners to ensure rapid & exponential growth in sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead Qualification & Development
- Act as the first point of contact for inbound leads, quickly assessing needs and qualifying opportunities.
- Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate new business opportunities with targeted accounts
- Finding the appropriate distributor sales rep and engaging them on interest in supporting accounts
- Maintain and manage a structured lead follow-up cadence using CRM tools.
Sales Process Execution
- Work closely with Outside Sales Representatives to ensure they have the necessary tools and information to support distributor sales reps effectively.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, providing product information, and preparing sales materials for distributor sales teams.
- Generate and track quotes, ensuring timely follow-up and coordination with distributors.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, ensuring smooth hand-offs between inside and outside sales efforts.
Distributor Engagement & Support
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributor sales reps, acting as a resource to help them sell our products more effectively.
- Support Outside Sales Representatives by providing critical insights, market data, and sales collateral tailored to distributor needs.
- Assist in training and onboarding distributor sales teams with product knowledge and sales strategies.
- Ensure distributor reps have the necessary support to follow up on opportunities and close deals efficiently.
- Coordinating and tracking trace sales data with Distributions and through Salesforce CRM to insure distributor customers are continuing to buy and eliminate churn.
Pipeline Management
- Work with Outside sales rep on pipeline management – ensuring opportunities are being followed up on and progressing through the sales process.
- Coordinate & follow upon opportunities on behalf of the outside sales rep to ensure quick and efficient communication.
Hub of communication
- Act as the primary liaison between sales, operations, and customer service teams, ensuring smooth information flow and collaboration.
- Communicate customer needs, order status, and key updates between departments to enhance efficiency and responsiveness.
- Work closely with logistics and fulfillment teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
- Assist in resolving customer inquiries and coordinating solutions with internal teams when necessary.
- Collaborate with marketing on lead generation efforts and customer outreach initiatives.
Salary : $40,000 - $60,000
