Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile and proactive IT Specialist to support and maintain our technology infrastructure. In this role, you will manage the Administration for all Software's utilized, manage IT systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and help improve operational efficiency for our small business. This is a hands-on role requiring a broad skill set and the ability to work independently.

Software & Systems Administrator Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain heavily customized Netsuite (ERP) and Salesforce (CRM) systems
  • Manage and maintain all other software's
  • Manages user accounts
  • Build custom configurations, workflows, and reports.
  • Cover multiple systems, ensuring integration and functionality between platforms
  • Focuses on optimizing the use of these systems to meet business needs, often working with both IT and operational teams.
  • Manages the data flow and integration between Salesforce, NetSuite, and other tools.
  • Manage implementation of new modules and resources
  • Perform ongoing customizations and enhancements to meet evolving business needs
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support for both systems
  • Optimize system performance and user experience
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system processes and customizations

IT Key Responsibilities

System Administration

  • Manage and maintain hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and updates of servers, desktops, and mobile devices.
  • Ensure the security of IT systems through regular updates, patches, and backups.

Technical Support

  • Provide first-line support for employees to resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Train staff on using technology and implementing best practices.

Network Management

  • Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi, and internet connections.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues and liaise with service providers when necessary.

Cybersecurity

  • Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive business data.
  • Respond to and mitigate potential security threats or breaches.

System Improvements

  • Evaluate and recommend software and hardware solutions to meet business needs.
  • Assist with the implementation of new systems, applications, or tools to streamline processes.

Documentation and Compliance

  • Maintain up-to-date IT documentation, including system configurations and user guides.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable data protection and privacy regulations.

  • Spider Tracking
  • SweetProcess

Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  • Experience with Windows
  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS).

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in networking, system administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and tools.
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems and asset management.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
