IT Systems Engineer

This role offers a hybrid work schedule 3 days working in the office and 2 days working from home. Using VMWare, installing applications, server backup and recovery using Veeam. Network and server monitoring and support. Managing information security systems. Serves as a support escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Support Specialists and will participate in an afterhours / on-call support rotation schedule. Responsible for creating and updating documentation and policies that provide critical information about enterprise and infrastructure practices. Will participate in and lead various technology projects which support business operations and infrastructure enhancements. YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE: •    Five years minimum experience working with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, hypervisors (VMWare and/or Hyper-V), GPO’s, Windows Server operating systems, Linux and O365 (AAD, SPO, EXO, Intune, etc)•    Experience working with WAN/LAN/Cloud network technologies and infrastructure devices (e.g. switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and VoIP)    •    Highly organized self-starter with strong capacity for critical thinking, engagement, and responsive communication•    Positive attitude with our team, our customers, and our business•    Exceptional customer support and communication skills, both verbal and written•    Proven assessment, design, planning, configuration, implementation, and support experience on a technical level•    Demonstrated project leadership experience•    Basic grasp of information security concepts and technology•    Willingness and ability to travel within the US: approximately 10 percent•    Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or technically related field preferred but will consider commensurate experience Desired Skills   •    Windows Server and Unix/Linux system management and PowerShell experience.•    O365, Azure experience.•    Experience working with distributed file systems, VMWare hypervisor, Veeam backup and restore, and working with the public, private or hybrid cloud. •    Experience with networking concepts and hardware a plus•    Working knowledge of ITL •    Technical certifications in related technologies   WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE •    Competitive compensation, DOE•    Our collaborative culture•    Competitive benefits package, including Health, Dental and Vision•    Opportunity to enroll in our 401k program •    Employee Assistance Program (EAP)•    Paid time off•    Hybrid work environment Notice: Offer for this position is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen
