Are you passionate about great coffee and amazing food? Fossette Foccaceria, an Italian-inspired café (created by the Red Stone Restaurant Group- best known for Red Hen, All Purpose Pizzeria, Boundary Stone and Aventino) known for its delicious coffee and house-made sandwiches on our signature focaccia bread, is looking for a talented and friendly Barista to join our team! If you love creating memorable customer experiences and thrive in a fast-paced, community-focused environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We are currently open Wednesday-Sunday from 8am-6pm.
Position: Barista / Café Customer Service (Part-Time)
Location: Fossette (1250 9th ST NW)
Hours: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks with precision and care.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and welcoming customer service. Although we have only been open for a couple of months, we already have an amazing group of regulars that visit us daily (or close to).
- Handle customer transactions using the TOAST POS.
- Assist in keeping the café clean and well-organized.
- Help with light food preparation, restocking, and other café tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service is a must. Previous barista experience is a HUGE plus!
- A passion for coffee and the ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Desire to go above and beyond.
