Specific Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement new ways to make Foster-Caviness a fun and exciting place to work!
  • Facilitate all facets of team building and people leadership.
  • Manage a transportation department of Delivery Drivers and Leadership, across multiple sites/areas.
  • Work on strategic initiatives to create an efficient, productive and effective transportation and delivery program.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of DOT regulations, HOS rules, routing/safety programs (Omnitracs, Samsara, etc)
  • Knowledge with computer systems such as Produce Pro, AS 400, etc.
  • Ensure all associates are engaged, empowered, and accountable to win.
  • Find solutions in challenging situations, create new opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Ensure processes are relevant and consistently executed with greatness and accuracy i.e. routing, dispatch, check-in, fleet management, policies and procedure adherence.
  • Manage and modernize process to ensure exceptional service levels.
