What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Sales Associate/CSR position at Foster Fuels?
SUMMARY
The position supports a broad range of disciplines include selling Foster Fuels propane products and services and assisting customers with their product needs. The Sales Associate provides exemplary customer service by asking the customer questions to determine their needs and engaging them with their product knowledge and suggestive selling items for the customer's immediate needs and recommending additional items and services that will satisfy the customers' future needs. The successful candidate will be able to elevate company standards, achieve sales goals, and meet customer expectations.
DUTIES
- Work at the direction of the Branch Manager either independently or together as a team.

Process customer requests and questions such as:
- Send and process new customer applications and other required paperwork.
- Answer customer questions relating to these documents.
- Process credit checks, explain credit limits.
- Take payments.
- Order appliance
- Fill propane tanks at the filling station for walk-in customers and in preparation for needed order.
- Engage customers, either on the phone or in-person, providing assistance product knowledge including their features, values and benefits of each product. Maintain knowledge and suggest additional items and alternatives.
- Ensure the store is neat, clean, and organized throughout each business day. Rearrange store when appropriate.
- Be aware of current promotional items and their correct pricing and knows where products are in the store.
- Actively participate in all programs and procedures that drive sales.
- Greet customers when entering the showroom and ensure that all customers receive excellent service through direct salesmanship and prompt and courteous service.
- Resolves product or services issues by clarifying customer complaints and determining and implementing the best solution.
- Must be available for overtime hours during our busy season, Saturdays, or in emergency situations.

KEY CANDIDATE SKILLS
- High School degree or GED
- Minimum 2 years of proven work experience as in a Sales or Customer Service role.
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Knowledge of CRM or industry management systems

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work environment will consist of mix of on-the-floor sales and behind the desk to assist with calls and computer related tasks. Store traffic can fluctuate based on seasonal demands which can also affect office hour requirements. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
