Job Description
Foster Garvey is seeking an experienced mid-level associate (a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience) to join its Business Group. The associate will work with the Firm’s small and large business clients on sophisticated transactions in a wide variety of industry sectors and regularly work with talented attorneys across the Firm’s six offices.
The successful candidate will have a strong background with entity selection and formation, organizational and governance structures, handling day-to-day matters for small and large businesses, as well as moderate to extensive experience with capital raise transactions covering a variety of private offerings, debt and equity financing from friends and family, angel investors, venture capital funds, syndicates and traditional banks. Public company, capital markets, and/or securities is a plus.

The annualized salary range for this position is $165,000 to $180,00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- 3 or more years of experience in corporate governance and counseling, representing early-stage brands in capital raise transactions, including private offerings and financing from various investors, with additional expertise in public company matters, capital markets, and M&A;
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and license to practice law required;
- Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical and writing skills;
- A client-service approach and exceptional communication skills;
- Enthusiasm to work as part of a diverse team;
- The ability to work on and manage multiple projects at one time;
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Responsive and professional service.
The annualized salary range for this position is $165,000 to $180,00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
