REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF IN-HOME BEHAVIORAL PROGRAMS

Reports to: President of In-home Behavioral Programs
Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to
Leadership and Management
- Leadership of BI Program Leadership staff operating in each site
- Communication between branch offices to ensure program fidelity
- Provide staff opportunities to give feedback on program operations
- Employee & team satisfaction
- Monthly staff supervision for support, guidance, evaluation/feedback
- Ensure all required trainings are met for all direct reports
- Conduct 90-day & annual employee performance reviews
- Ensure consistency & accuracy of reporting & procedures of programs
- Communication with direct supervisor
- Actively participate in leadership meetings, conferences, trainings
- Ensure program activities are consistent with FAC's mission/values
- Network with new & current partner agencies & community stakeholders
- Contribute towards agency culture, cultural competency, performance improvement outcomes
- Frequent travel to branch offices
Administrative/Performance, Quality & Improvement (PQI)
- Follow program operations: from initial referral to service delivery; billing requirements for funding resources
- Review QA results & procedures with Program Managers; focus on systems/process improvement
- Compile monthly, quarterly, and year-end agency reports & statistics
- Follow Critical Incidents procedure: follow-up, documentation, communication to Leadership
- Participate in FAC's efforts to assist clients, maintain Council on Accreditation & State/private contracts standards for maximum effectiveness
Financial Management
- Track Behavioral Programs hours provided according to funding/contract parameters
- Provide required data for contracts/billing
- Manage within approved budget, reporting progress & challenges to COO & CFO
- Assist in grant planning, writing, development, and execution, for replication
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- Minimum BA/BS (in social work, psychology, public administration, or related human services field) 3 years leadership experience in non-profit social service agencies
- Setting priorities, creating efficiencies, guiding investment in people & systems; predicting & navigating change impact on individual team members
- Flexible, self-starter; multi-tasker, detail-oriented, can meet deadlines organizational & planning skills
- Problem-solver & decision-maker
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Experience working with marginalized communities & at-risk populations with nuanced understanding of systemic oppressions
- Understanding of child welfare practice & policy
- Understanding of program development, implementation & evaluation
- Understanding of trauma and how it affects individuals, families, systems
- Commitment to principles of support/advocacy for foster & adoptive families
- Advocate for positive outcomes within multi-disciplinary professional teams
- Leadership, team management, interpersonal skills; establish rapport & build trust
- Model ethical & professional behavior
- Flexibility/adaptability to fit the needs of a wide range of cultures, people, organizations
