Position Overview
As an Accountant / Bookkeeper, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of FOTOCOLE. You'll manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll, and financial reporting. This remote role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
2. Prepare and issue invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
3. Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations and labor laws.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
5. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
6. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
7. Monitor cash flow and manage expenses to ensure financial stability.
8. Reconcile credit card transactions and expense reports.
9. Assist with tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
10. Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
