Bookkeeper / Accountant
The Tobacco Company Restaurant is a multifaceted entertainment and dining show place in Richmond, VA. We are looking for a skilled bookkeeper / accountant to join our team and help us maintain our financial records and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
As a bookkeeper / accountant, you will be responsible for recording daily financial transactions, updating a general ledger, preparing trial balances, processing accounts payable and receivable, running payroll, generating invoices, preparing financial reports, and filing tax returns. You will also work closely with our management team to provide financial analysis and advice for strategic decisions.
To be successful in this role, you should have a finance degree or relevant certification, along with proven bookkeeping or accounting experience. You should also be familiar with accounting software packages, such as Quickbooks, Kashoo, and KashFlow. You should have excellent data entry skills, attention to detail, and customer service orientation. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team.
