Position Summary :
The College Hub Job and Resident Support Coordinator is responsible for working with key partners and Foundation Communities staff to support students and promote pathways into and through college or skills training for students and potential students in Central Texas, with a focus on residents of Foundation Communities properties.
Essential Job Functions :
Provides individualized job coaching services and support to Prosper Center clients and Foundation Communities residents.
Meet individually with clients to provide job coaching. Coaching may include, but is not limited to goal setting, interest and skill alignment, job searching, resume review, and interview preparation
Provide one-on-one support to prospective and current college students through short-term college coaching and planning and through the Succeed program.
Provide individualized support to students as they navigate college admissions, enrollment, and registration
Coordinate access to support services to help students overcome barriers
Case manages a cohort of Succeed students that are residents of Foundation Communities properties.
Bring College Hub services to residents of Foundation Communities
Participate in Teen Program Planning meetings to inform and connect Teen program staff and students to College Hub services
Act as the liaison for the College Hub with Housing programing staff, CHI and other stake holders
Assist Teen Program participants with financial aid applications (FAFSA and TASFA)
Work with Teem Program staff to facilitate guest speakers, field trips and College Access and Support program as needed.
Research best practices and develop a high degree of knowledge in engaging youth in programs that help them access and complete college or training
Complete accurate and timely data collection and entry
Work some weekend hours as assigned
Other tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (experience, education, credentials, language) :

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; an inclusive student-centered philosophy of providing services and resources
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Knowledge of the college application and financial aid process
Ability to work in a team while also handling individual day-to-day responsibilities and projects independently
Ability to read, write, and speak a second language is strongly preferred
25.50 / hr
Physical Demands / Work Environment : (include amount of lifting, twisting, bending, sitting, standing, keyboarding, driving, noise, indoor / outdoor etc.)
Position requires extensive keyboard use and will include transporting materials and supplies for outreach events.
