Overview :
Senior Product Owner Description & Duties :
The Senior Product Owner is responsible for driving and defining the launch of new products and services within the company. They have a solid grasp on data analytics, strategy, and agile methodologies in order to deliver a high-quality product(s) to increase company revenue. In addition to driving and defining launches of new products and services, they will also help build and maintain the policies and procedures that will help define what success looks like within the team.
Pay Range :
USD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 / Yr.
Responsibilities :
Duties may include, but are not limited to :
- Define the metrics that aid in showing the effectiveness of the planning, execution, and budgeting of product teams.
- Responsible for assigned feature level key performance indicators (KPI`s) and manages features or product(s) with all degrees of KPI, scope, complexity, etc.
- Support defining minimum viable product (MVP), owns scrum team backlog (grooming, prioritization, and refinement).
- Drive day to day with the scrum teams clarifying business requirements, removing roadblocks, consistently communicating and gaining alignment around feature or product strategy.
- Ensure delivery of scope, partners with delivery teams to ensure user stories are clear, removes barriers for team members, and resolves open issues / questions quickly and efficiently.
- Analyze feasibility, cost ramifications, economies, or other aspects of planned or potential programs.
- Set the quality standard for delivery, develop test plans (user story acceptance criteria), accept each story and potentially features and participates in team demos and retrospectives to validate quality, provide feedback to team and improve team processes.
- Partner across functions as needed to coordinate delivery plans, testing, training, and support.
- Build strong interpersonal relationships with all individual contributors, leadership, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead problem resolution as needed to ensure that internal and external customers receive prompt, efficient service.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
