The Early Childhood Teacher will work closely with children, parents, and staff to ensure the highest standards of care and education.
Duties
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster positive relationships with students to support their emotional and social development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents regarding their child's development.
- Plan and conduct activities that promote physical education, math skills, and early intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom while ensuring compliance with child welfare regulations.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, challenges, and achievements.
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Experience working with students in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of child welfare practices and early intervention techniques.
- Strong skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and physical education activities.
- Ability to engage toddlers effectively while promoting their growth in various developmental areas.
- Excellent communication skills to build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
