Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about providing exceptional client service? Foundations Investment Advisors, an SEC-registered RIA, is seeking a dynamic Transitions Specialist to manage and execute account transitions for financial advisors joining our growing firm. This role is critical in ensuring seamless transitions for advisors and their clients, with a strong focus on compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the end-to-end transition process for financial advisors and their clients, ensuring efficient and timely account transfers.
- Coordinate with custodians, internal departments, and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth onboarding and account transitions.
- Process account transfer paperwork, including ACAT (Automated Customer Account Transfers) and non-ACAT transfers, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate closely with advisors and their teams to gather required documentation and resolve any issues during the transition process.
- Ensure compliance with SEC and FINRA regulations related to account transfers, documentation, and client communication.
- Maintain and update transition tracking systems to provide real-time status updates to internal teams and advisors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for advisors during transitions, offering guidance, answering questions, and managing escalations.
- Partner with operations, compliance, and technology teams to continuously improve the transition process and enhance the advisor experience.
- Conduct post-transition follow-ups to ensure successful account transfers and address any remaining issues.
- Stay informed on industry regulations, best practices, and custodial policy changes impacting account transitions.
