Introduction
We’re currently engaged with a pioneering series A startup who are building next gen AI infrastructure. They’re searching for a VP of Engineering who will establish and execute the technical vision for creating and scaling these AI-driven products. In this role, you’ll oversee engineering teams, guide system architecture, and ensure the company remains at the forefront of autonomous agent innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Technical Strategy & Leadership
Define the engineering roadmap, aligning AI product vision with business goals.
Recruit, mentor, and lead top-tier engineering talent, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Oversee platform design, integrating agentic AI workflows with robust, scalable infrastructure.
Stay at the cutting edge of AI and ML advancements—particularly LLM-based approaches—to ensure ongoing technical leadership.
Work closely with product, design, and leadership teams to transform conceptual AI solutions into market-ready offerings.
Does This Sound Like You?
Prior success guiding engineering teams in fast-paced startup or AI-focused environments.
Familiar with LLMs, prompt engineering, MLOps, and the nuances of agentic AI solutions.
Skilled at designing and scaling distributed systems, with a strong grounding in cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Able to balance short-term deliverables with long-term technical objectives.
Comfortable partnering across departments to align technical capabilities with user and business needs.
