Fountain Plaza is an active living retirement community that is currently hiring for a part-time Experience in Baking experience. Our baker creates delicious desserts and pastries for our residents to enjoy daily. We are looking for someone who is motivated, has a great attitude, and has a wide array of cooking experience to join our team. We serve our residents three delicious meals a day in our restaurant-style dining room that is open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. T
Applicants must enjoy working with seniors and is capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years baking experience
- Must be able to lift, stack, and maneuver object that may weigh at least 50 lbs.
- Is able to stand, walk, bend throughout the entire work day
- Great attitude, punctual, clean, and organized
- Quick learner and follows instructions well
- Has a keen eye for detail
- Team player
- Receives constructive criticism well
- Motivated to learn and maintains an open mind
- Good attendance record
- Excellent understand and practice of food sanitation rules
- Ensures quality food and service
Compensation/Benefits:
- Hourly pay is based on experience
