This job description outlines the requirements, reporting relationships, authority, responsibilities, duties, and measurements of performance for the position of Fleet Administrator of Four Corners Welding & Gas Supply. (FCWGS)
Role Overview:
The Fleet Administrator is responsible for the administration of the company’s fleet records, handling all tasks associated with data management including usage, maintenance scheduling, inspections, and reporting. The Fleet Administrator ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and compliance policies.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Required: High School or equivalent
- Preferred: Associate's Degree in management or related field, or equivalent experience in managing fleet related documentation and records, or any combination of education, training and knowledge that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Key Responsibilities and other Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, preventative maintenance, regular inspections, fuel receipts, mileage reports
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repairs to fleet
- Point of contact for driver updates on customer sites, equipment, truck/tanker status
- Ensure compliance of drivers
- Schedule fleet inspections, registration, and insurance needs
- Schedule pump servicing for tankers
- Review associated costs, set departmental goals
- Outsource repairs
- Safe work practices and use of personal protective equipment
- Clear communication and foster a cohesive and collaborative work culture
- Exceptional customer service by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, acknowledging all customers promptly and address customer complaints in a professional manner
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Produce regular reports for management and participate in team efforts to meet company goals
- All other assigned duties by Senior Management
- May require local travel

Supervisory Responsibility:
There are no supervisory or direct report responsibilities.
Physical Demands:
This position is very active and requires work completed in an office setting and managing tasks outside with fleet personnel and equipment. The job requires standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, squatting, pushing, pulling, reaching above shoulders, gripping, reach with hands and arms, carrying, climb up and down stairs. Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, and keyboarding. Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. Exposure to low noise in office and loud noises outside, possible extreme weather conditions and dust. Visual abilities, near and far vision, depth perception.
Work Hours and Environment:
This full-time position requires a commitment to work from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00; Saturday work may be required as schedule demands. Pay Rate $14 - $18/HR
