What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Parent Peer Support position at Four County Mental Health Center?
Certified Parent Peer Support – This position consists of helping parent’s access new resources and practice new skills in the community for their children. Assist parent with education in identifying and effectively managing or avoiding identified precursors or triggers that result in functional impairments with their child. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED and meets definitions of lived experience/active recovery defined by State of Kansas qualifications for Certified Parent Peer Support. Selected applicant will receive training and support in becoming certified through the State of Kansas.
This position is full time with some weekend hours expected.
Starting wage is $15.71/hour.
