Company Overview
Four Feathers Wine Services is a family-owned winery located in Prosser, Washington. We are a custom crush facility with 3,000,000 gallons of capacity and crush over 17,000 tons at harvest for multiple clients. We have a team of skilled and experienced winemakers and cellar crew dedicated to producing wines of the highest quality. We are looking to immediately hire an entry level sales and marketing support candidate.
Summary of Position
The person hired for this position will work directly with the sales and logistics teams. This position will support our sales representative with wine selection, execution and communication of bulk wine sales to clients. They will assist, maintain, and update sales data into various digital medium. This person will assist and interact with clients beginning with client outreach through sample requests and all elements of the negotiation, purchase, shipping and invoicing process while communicating with the appropriate parties throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Manage client communication
- Create Sales Orders based on client’s information. Enter data into Bulk Wine Tracking and Vintrace database
- Attend trade shows, visit markets and meet with clients in person
- Create travel schedule, plan market visits, set up trade shows, coordinate marketing materials, and wine pouring
- Track and record client samples and blends, calculate analyses and pricing of samples and create sample labels
- Maintaining Product Information
- Updating spreadsheet with current quantities, tank location and lab analyses
- Updating bulk wine labels with current analyses, tank information, bottling date and pricing
- Email and marketing material development and execution
- Place and update classifieds postings, website maintenance and generating and organizing media
- Client invoicing and invoice tracking (aging reports)
Qualifications
· Service minded
· Sales experience, wine sales preferred
· Knowledge and experience within the wine industry a plus
· Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint
· Detail Oriented team player with excellent communication and professionalism
