Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and certified Personal Trainer with a specialization in corrective exercise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve their goals safely and effectively, with a focus on functional movement and injury prevention.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized fitness programs based on client goals, fitness levels, and needs.
- Conduct movement assessments to identify imbalances and implement corrective exercise strategies.
- Provide one-on-one and small group training sessions, ensuring proper form and technique.
- Collaborate with clients to set achievable short- and long-term fitness goals.
- Track client progress through regular assessments, including body composition and performance metrics.
- Educate clients on proper nutrition and lifestyle habits to complement their training.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming training environment.
- Actively participate in continuing education to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Current Personal Training Certification from a recognized organization (NASM, ACSM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, etc.).
- Corrective Exercise Certification (e.g., NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist or equivalent).
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain prior to employment).
- Proven experience working with clients of diverse fitness levels and abilities.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and program design principles.
- Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to professionalism, punctuality, and client success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with body composition tools such as InBody scanners or similar technology.
- Familiarity with strength and conditioning principles for muscle building and fat loss.
- A background in coaching nutrition or working within a multidisciplinary fitness team.
