Do you love helping pets feel safe, calm, and cared for—and enjoy connecting with the people who love them? We’re a Fear Free Certified dog and cat clinic, and we’re looking for a Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our compassionate, detail-oriented team.
Who You Are: You’re someone who pays close attention to detail and takes initiative without hesitation. You’re curious, eager to learn, and committed to making every experience positive—for both pets and their humans. You’re reliable, team-focused, and love working in an environment where kindness and calmness are just as important as clinical skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Support veterinary technicians and doctors with gentle, low-stress patient care
- Prepare exam rooms with Fear Free principles in mind
- Assist with restraint techniques that prioritize comfort and safety
- Clean and maintain clinical areas and equipment
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and coworkers
- Contribute to a peaceful, efficient, pet-centered environment every day

- Comfort and confidence interacting with both pets and their people
- Interest in or familiarity with Fear Free practices (we’re happy to train the right person!)
Bonus if you have:
- Experience in a veterinary or animal care setting
- Completed (or working toward) Fear Free certification
- Basic knowledge of dog/cat behavior and low-stress handling
