Position Overview:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and professional front desk agent with a background in Marriott properties to join our front desk team. As the face of Four Points by Sheraton – Lake Norman, you'll play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests. This role requires someone who is personable, attentive, and efficient, ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and addressing guest inquiries with a warm and helpful demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, following Marriott’s brand standards
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and the local area
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly, maintaining Marriott’s commitment to service excellence
- Maintain accurate guest records, manage reservations, and ensure loyalty program details are handled with precision
- Administrative tasks.
- Handle phone calls, messages, and guest requests professionally and efficiently
- Process payments, verify billing, and handle cash transactions securely
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Uphold Marriott’s standards for cleanliness and organization at the front desk and lobby areas
Qualifications:
- 1 year previous experience in a Marriott property or Marriott-branded hotel is required
- Lightspeed experience is required.
- Must have open full-time availability including weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Proficiency in using Marriott’s hotel management software (such as FOSSE or Marsha) and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
