Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with the check-in process.
- Manage guest check-outs efficiently while ensuring all billing is accurate.
- Handle reservations and cancellations through phone systems and online platforms.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and dining options to enhance guest experience.
- Address guest inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all supplies are stocked.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to fulfill guest requests effectively.
- Uphold hotel policies regarding safety and security while maintaining confidentiality of guest information.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with hospitality software systems is a plus; training will be provided as needed.
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
