Job Title: Second Shift Front Desk Agent
Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. (Second Shift); 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. (Night Audit)
Position Summary:
As a Second Shift Front Desk Agent at our Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, you will be the first point of contact for guests during the afternoon and evening hours. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, and handling guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. This position requires a personable and reliable individual who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor upon arrival.
2. Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and accurately entered into the system.
3. Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
4. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.
5. Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment, accurately and securely.
6. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the lobby and surrounding areas.
7. Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest needs are met efficiently.
8. Adhere to Four Points by Sheraton Hotel's policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
9. Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and managing reservations.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
3. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
4. Proficiency in computer systems.
5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
7. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality is a plus.
