What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Front Desk Associate position at Four Points by Sheraton Portland East?
We are currently seeking a full-time front desk position:
*Monday through Friday, 6am to 2pm*
Days and hours may be flexible depending on your unique needs.
Some of the responsibilities include:
-Welcome guests by greeting them with a smile
-Answer the telephone and transfer calls as needed
-Follow all brand standards and procedures
-Register guests and obtaining/confirm room details
-Verifying the accuracy and balancing of daily work
-Email responses, sending receipts
-Check-out guests and perform room moves
-Provide information to guests by answering inquiries regarding hotel and other services
-Make hotel reservations, cancellations, and modifications
-Settle credit cards and handle cash payments
-Log on and utilize Marriott applications consistently
-Great customer service skills and a positive attitude required
Etc...
*NOTE* This job is temporary for around 3 months or so and will be a fill-in position after the current associate returns from Family Leave, with the possibility of moving to another shift
