Jellystone Park Monticello, IA - Maintenance Manager
- Must be able to work out doors
- Must be friendly and courteous and strive for excellent customer service
- Maintain park lawn, weed eating, picking up debris, leaf blowing
- Site clean up: cleaning out fire pits, garbage removal
- Deliver firewood, fill propane tanks
- Must be able to drive a golf cart
- Assist activities/recreation department when required for event set up and break down
- Will need to become very familiar with campground layout, sites, lodging units, as well as the rules and regulations at the campground
- Pressure washing buildings
- Basic electrical and plumbing skills
- Vacuuming pool
- Trained to run park specific amenities
- Basic regular maintenance: painting, changing a faucet, etc.
- Should be able to lift 75 pounds
- Maximum customer interaction, must be able to handle customer complaints and inquiries
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Coordinate with any vendors or contractors for capital improvement projects or operational projects, lead by corporate
- CPO certified desirable (Certified Pool Operator)
- Licensed driver
- Any required state licensing for amenities
- Schedule staff for volume of park
- Train staff in their duties
- Will need to be knowledgeable in electric, plumbing and equipment operation
- Will need good communication skills
- Will need to deal with customer complaints and concerns
- Assist hospitality manager in overseeing each department
- Head up and hire security staff, train security staff
- Maintenance on park equipment: weed eaters, mowers, tractors, etc
