We are seeking an experienced and friendly server to join our team. As a server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu items, specials, and ingredients
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring that all details are correct
- Communicate orders clearly and efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring that all items are served at the appropriate temperature
- Monitor tables throughout the meal, refilling drinks, addressing any requests or concerns, and ensuring a smooth dining experience
- Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations
- Assist with side work tasks such as restocking supplies, polishing silverware, and setting up for the next shift
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation in the dining area
- Communicate effectively with the management team and other restaurant staff to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications:
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a server
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with Toast point-of-sale (POS) system and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of food and bar beverage service, including proper table setting, food presentation, and wine pairing
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other restaurant staff
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays
- Willing and able to be on their feet for 6 hours.
- RBS alcohol & Food handlers certified
- Strong upselling skills
