About the Accounting Coordinator Role:
The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for all administrative functions for the Finance Department including the maintenance of the Director of Finance’s files. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform General Cashier duties
- Act as main contact and coordinate payroll processing with CapGemini according to the Shared Services agreement
- Perform any other payroll duties as assigned by Manager
- Act as main contact and coordinate Income Audit processing with CapGemini according to the Shared Services agreement
- Perform any other income audit duties as assigned by Manager
- Act as main contact and coordinate Accounts Payable processing with CapGemini according to the Shared Services agreement
- Assist in A/P phone inquires as well as A/R guest folio requests and process guest disputes when guest requests
- Assist in other areas of the accounting office as needed.
- Maintain an inventory of all necessary forms, stationery and related office supplies for the Finance Office and as needed for the entire hotel.
- Sort and distribute hotel's daily incoming mail
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Director of Finance or Assistant Director of Finance.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for individuals with excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English is also required. The ideal candidate will have working technical knowledge of advanced administrative skills with minor or entry level skills in accounting/finance. This position requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software and ability to operate a fax, scanner, copier, telephone, adding machine, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare and deliver reports, effective presentations and to facilitate meetings is a must.
Education/Previous Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Preferably a college degree with a major in Finance/Accounting
- Preferably work experience within a hotel
