SUMMARY:
Responsible for all duties assigned by department in which the internship is being completed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Attends all required training classes in the Summer Intern program.
- Performs all tasks assigned within respective department in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintains knowledge and adherence to Four Wind’s policies and procedures.
- Acts as an ACES and T.R.I.F. role model, reporting to assigned shift on time, fostering a positive and enthusiastic work environment for all employees. Builds relationships with other departments, encourages teamwork, and respect, while providing excellent guest service.
- Listens to, evaluates and handles guest comments in a way that satisfies the guest to their satisfaction.
- Is held accountable for confidentiality and accuracy of departmental/company records and reports.
- Works in and ensures a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized environment.
- Maintains professional grooming and appearance and acts as a role model according to established grooming and appearance policies.
- Attends all meetings in the identified department.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Must be enrolled or attending an accredited College/University.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong organizational and communication skills required.
This position requires a Level 2 Gaming License.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
