Qualifications
· Minimum of 1 year of retail experience.
· Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems.
· Strong customer service skills.
· Knowledge and/or experience with pet care is preferred but will train.
· Ability to handle pet care products and provide basic advice.
· Basic math skills for transactions.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
· Ability to lift 40lbs bags of pet food and stand for long periods of time.
Duties include, but are not limited to cashiering, stocking, merchandising, cleaning, sales, assisting customers and their pets, and carrying pet food to customer’s vehicles.
Must be flexible & available to work days, evenings, weekends, & holidays and willing to attend monthly staff meetings and product trainings.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
